Senior Accountant

Full-Time opportunity based in East Hawthorn Immediate Start About the Company: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to take the next step in the support office of a privately owned company in the medical industry going through an exciting period of growth.
We are seeking a proactive, motivated team player to join our small close-knit team as a Senior Accountant. Your responsibilities will be broad, covering all facets of the finance function.
Your role will include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
Reporting Aged ReceivablesProvide support and back up to Accounts Payable Officer around the accounts payable functionCompleting bank reconciliationsCompleting weekly invoicing to ClientsProcessing of accruals, prepayments and subsequent journalsAssisting with monthly Balance Sheet ReconciliationsAssisting with the Fixed Asset RegisterAssisting with year-end proceduresContinuous improvement of financial processesAbout You: Key to your success in this role will be your excellent attention to detail and not being afraid to use your initiative. In addition, you will also require the following:
At least 5 years' experience in a similar roleCompleted CA or CPAExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work within a team environmentMYOB Advanced would be highly regarded
