With a diverse portfolio of clients around the world, the successful Senior Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and management.
Job Description Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will:
Oversee the preparation of statutory financial reports for year-end. Prepare month end management reports to include balance sheet reconciliations, Tax reconciliations and P&L statements. Assist in forecasting and budgeting. Assist in process improvement projects and system implementations as required. Prepare financial reports and income tax information for oversees entities. Liaise with senior stakeholders to deliver month end analysis and provide guidance to stakeholders on budgets and forecasts. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate ideally will have trained in a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm, and have demonstratable experience working to tight deadlines and producing deliverables to senior stakeholders and management. Moreover the successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
A bachelor degree in Accounting Finance or related field. CA, CPA or ACCA qualified, with at least 5 years relevant experience in a professional services setting. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the preparation of statutory financial statements for a large corporate group Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated experience of working to tight deadlines. Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles and demonstrated experience delivering board reports to senior stakeholders.
