The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience and will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio under the supervision of a manager and often working alongside a partner. Previous exposure to technical issues, complex structures, and medium to large client groups is essential for success in this role. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation at an Australian Accounting firm and have commenced some advisory work and staff supervision in the tax role.Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for clients, demonstrating strong technical skills in areas such as income tax, company tax, and management accounting.Contribute to new business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and promoting the firm's services to expand the client base.Provide expert advice and assistance in preparing business plans, complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with client needs and regulatory requirements.Offer technical support, feedback, and guidance to team members assisting with client accounts, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to professional growth and development.Demonstrate a proactive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment, taking the initiative to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance client service delivery.Requirements:CPA or CA qualification.A minimum of 5 years of solid experience in public practice.Proficiency in MYOB Accountants Enterprise.Advanced knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience and exceptional interpersonal skills.Proven track record in staff management and driving team performance.Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment.Our offer to you:This is your opportunity to join Conquest Advisory, a firm that cares deeply for its staff and promotes a workplace where you're able to grow and develop your skills while being exposed to incredible client experiences that will shape you as a professional.
