Key Responsibilities: Tax planning & advisory: Offer insightful guidance on tax matters, helping clients optimise their financial outcomes. Business improvement advisory: Lead initiatives to enhance business performance through innovation and automation. Financial modelling: Engage in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and valuations to provide clients with robust financial insights. Compliance work: Prepare financial statements, income tax returns (including SMSF), and handle BAS, IAS, and FBT returns. Statutory obligations: Assist with payroll tax and Workcover submissions. Required Skills & Experience: Degree qualification and CPA or CA completed (or near completion). 5+ years of experience working with SMEs in public practice. Strong interest in business advisory and strategy. High attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Expertise in financial modelling, including budgeting and forecasting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Willingness to adapt to new technologies and firm procedures.
