We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team!
Perhaps you are a CPA student who just conquered the CFE, or maybe you have equivalent experience in public practice without a designation. We are looking for a strong team player who has solid experience as a preparer to join our Canadian and/or Cross border tax and accounting team. If you're the one we're looking for, you have the following experience: 2-3 years working in public practice (or more!) Preparation of Compilation engagement files and T2 Corporate tax returns – intermediate level files and above Understanding of corporate tax balances (CDA, RDTOH, GRIP etc.) Preparation of corporate or personal tax planning scenario calculations Preparation of Canadian personal tax returns – intermediate level files and above Bonus Experience: Preparation of U.S. personal tax returns Preparation of Trust tax returns Preparation of Review Engagements with well-documented work-paper files Financial statement preparation: preparing statements in accordance with the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) including related notes disclosures We're sure to really like you if you: Are a problem solver at heart - love reconciling and balancing!
