Our client, a reputable Darwin-based accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will play a key role in managing accounts for clients. About the Role: As a Senior Accountant, you'll take charge of producing financial reports and managing accounts for clients, utilising your expertise in accounting software like Xero and MYOB. You'll also leverage your knowledge and experience to mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their growth and the success of the team.
What You Will Need: In order to take up this great opportunity, the successful applicant will require the following skills and experience:
At least 3-5 years of prior experience Client-facing experience Ability to produce and maintain financial reports using Xero, MYOB, and other accounting software Experience in preparing tax returns, FBT, and financial statements for various business entity types Experience preparing BAS and IAS returns Strong ability to calculate and reconcile payroll tax obligations Experience preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and KPI reports for clients Ability to support and mentor junior colleagues for their professional development A Master's in Accounting What We Can Offer: $80K to $100K Your Next Steps: If you feel you have the skills and experience to be a success in this role, apply now with your current resume.
