Senior Accountant

My client is a privately owned property development and investment construction group that manages a diverse portfolio of properties across ACT. Due to significant growth, they are looking to hire the expertise of a Senior Accountant into the Finance team help manage the month end reporting and tax compliance across the group.Duties will include but not limited to:Preparation of financial statements for multiple entities including trusts and companies.Detailed preparation and presentation of monthly management reports for the Board and SLT.Review and analysis of property portfolio performance and management of workflows and prioritisation of jobsReporting and reviewing ASIC compliance.Prepare and review tax returns and associated reports (BAS, Taxable Payments, Payment Summaries etc) for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts.Tax compliance and advice - Income Tax, GST, Capital Gains Tax, fundamentals of trust law, and superannuation provisions.To be considered, you will be CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) and be looking to join a fast paced growing organization. You will ideally have experience in business services (accounting & tax) and have strong technical skills in preparation of financial statements and tax compliance.
