Responsibilities Include: Financial accounting, including bank reconciliations and general ledger journals Internal and external audit assistance Management accounting support Accounts receivable and payable management Payroll management Asset accounting and records management Grant management and reporting The successful candidate is required to have: Bachelors of Accounting or equivalent degree qualification Demonstrated Financial and Management Accounting skills High level interpersonal, negotiation, written and verbal communications skills Advanced level in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Demonstrated experience in a similar position Local government experience highly regarded Furthermore, you should be willing to complete any other training required to fulfil the requirements of the position.
This is a permanent, full time position and will be offered at Level 8 of the Queensland Local Government (Stream A) Award - $88,157.16 per annum plus allowances.
