The Role We are looking for Senior Accountants who enjoy face to face interaction with clients, managing their own portfolio and who have an appetite for leadership. Your portfolio size will be determined based on your ability and experience, with a focus on ensuring opportunities are presented to work on larger, more complex clients for those who have a longer term goal of Partnership.
Duties Managing a portfolio of clients from a variety of industries with 1/3 being Agribusiness and wealthy families ranging from $2m - $50m in turnover. Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS for companies, trusts, individuals, and sole traders. Providing general accounting and tax planning advice to clients. Mentoring and training junior team members. Client-facing and ability to work autonomously. About you: Completing or qualified CPA or CA qualified (or overseas equivalent). Minimum 3+ years' experience in an Australian public practice firm. Competent with software including Xero and QuickBooks. Enjoy building rapport, being client-facing and service-orientated. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
