About the Role: As a Senior Accountant, you'll work from our super-accessible East Brisbane office (with potential for work-from-home flexibility because, hey, pants are overrated). Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves completing client work across a wide range of accounting, compliance, and advisory services.
Plus, you get to support our entrepreneurial clients from a smorgasbord of industries with:
Juggling diverse client assignments (don't worry, we mean metaphorically). Wrangling accounts preparation, annual returns, BAS preparation, and management of trusts/companies. Detective work : Analyzing client management reports to unearth opportunities for business improvement. Tax wizardry : Researching and resolving tax-related queries, analyzing financial data, and ensuring everything adds up. Financial sleuthing : Preparing and examining individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns, and financial statements. Tech mastery : Generating and managing financial reports using Xero and MYOB. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Australian professional CA or CPA accounting practice. Proficiency in Xero, MYOB AE, BGL, and MS Office. Technical competency, AASB, and IFRS. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (we love a good chat). Works well to deadlines with strong attention to detail and prioritization (we don't miss a beat). CA or CPA qualified. Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team (no slackers here). Professional Can do Attitude. Ability to build relationships. Clear police and credit checks. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
