Great opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a leading public practice organisation. Your new company I am looking for an experienced senior finance/accountant candidate to join one of Darwin's leading chartered accountant firms. Your new role You will provide direct support to the organisation's directors. You will be responsible for the following Perform and manage audits of financial statements ready for partner review. Supervise staff during course of assignment Perform audits of financial statements ready for partner review. Conduct external audits in accordance with Australian auditing standards. Liaise with client staff and manager client relations. Ensure partner review points are addressed. Prepare client financial statements in accordance with applicable Australian Accounting Standards. Prepare management letters and other reporting documents. Ensure that client deadlines are met. Preparing and finalising audit clearance meetings Prepare and conduct training courses for junior staff. Raise client bills and monitor work in progress Conduct assignment reviews for junior staff What you'll need to succeed Ideally, you will have: University Degree with Accounting major Member or near-member of CA ANZ or CPA (or international equivalent) Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a chartered accounting firm A broad knowledge of accounting and general financial management Ability to achieve audit objectives with minimal supervision What you'll get in return This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a leading public practice organisation.
