Position Summary
As a Senior Accountant, you will have a broad range of responsibilities in a client-facing role. You will be expected to analyse financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for the Firm's clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;Apply knowledge of the business environment within which the client operates and how the client is positioned in the industry;Assist graduates with work and act as a mentor/buddy;Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current legal and accounting reporting standards;Prepare documents for client meetings with Partner;Identify, research, and resolve all complex accounting issues;Prepare and analyse management accounting reports;Prepare income tax returns;Provide advice in relation to various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax, and fringe benefits tax;Provide general business advisory advice and support to a wide range of client groups. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Essential Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major Desirable Completion of CA or equivalent DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES: Essential Strong Communication SkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamCommitted to continuing professional development What's On Offer
