In this role you will work directly with the Finance Manager & CFO of a fast-growing, multi-entity business, with exposure to Hospitality venues, Shopping Centres, Property investment and development.
The business will be looking to acquire other entities and assets, for which you will get exposure to Financial Analysis, Labour reporting and Inventory/Stock Accounting.
Paying up to 120k + Super, based in Brisbane CBD with flexibility around start/finish times.
Due to the timing of the role,
you will need to start within a 2 week notice period . Either on a permanent or temp-to-perm basis.
This business is open to sponsoring your visa, following an initial 3-6 month contract period.
However, you must hold current Australian working rights to be able to start the role.
Responsibilities:
Month-end accounting and reporting process.
Compile daily and weekly performance data for financial reporting.
Compile weekly/monthly labour data for labour reporting.
Assist with compliance and statutory obligations; BAS/IAS lodgements, superannuation and payroll tax obligations.
Oversight of the Accounts Payable process.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Registers for all entities within the group.
Process final weekly payroll (detailed payroll reporting dealt with externally).
Ad hoc assistance with other forms of industry reporting (e.g. stock/inventory, beverages sales, food sales).
Profile:
CA, CPA or equivalent qualified or studying towards.
Available to start within 2 weeks or less.
Comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment.
Must enjoy working on different projects, be involved at all levels and do tasks as necessary.
Ability to work in a small team and wear multiple hats.
Strong Excel skills and systems savvy – Able to pick up and use new systems quickly.
Comfortable being a self-starter who can work independently with a high level of initiative.
