Senior Accountant, Group Finance - Jersey

A market leading company in fund and corporate services in Jersey is looking for a senior accountant within its Group Finance Department.
You will assist the Group Finance Controller with various day-to-day tasks, preparation of the year-end audit files, review work performed by junior accountants, and ad hoc projects as required.
Duties will also include reporting for the management accounts, regulatory and tax reporting preparation, and review of bookkeeping and month-end close requirements.
You will be involved with the preparation of management accounts and journals, monthly payroll data preparation, and third-party payments.
The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and have a strong academic background, along with being able to demonstrate a full understanding of accounting, possess strong analytical skills, and a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be expected to have advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook along with experience of using Viewpoint accounting software.
