If you have a passion for delivering high-quality services, building strong client relationships, and providing proactive business advice, this role is perfect for you.Role SummaryIn this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ranging from $400k to $550k, while ensuring exceptional service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying clients' needs, and providing proactive business advice and guidance. You will also play a crucial role in project and job management, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and within required timeframes.Key Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesManage client portfolios, action plans, and deadlines across all services.Prepare financial accounts, income tax returns, and tax planning work for various entities.Coordinate client communication and workflow management.Identify training opportunities for junior staff and provide on-the-job training as required.Attend networking events and build networks to assist in bringing on new clients.CompetenciesTechnical Expertise: Demonstrates high-level technical accounting skills and awareness of accounting standards.Client Management: Develops favorable professional relationships with clients and identifies client problem areas.Communication: Expresses oneself clearly in conversations and written communications.Teamwork: Makes significant contributions to internal projects and business areas.Project Management: Initiates, plans, executes, and closes the work of a team to achieve specific goals.Leadership: Displays leadership capability and contributes to the development of staff.Influencing Others: Gains support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business or Commerce with an Accounting Major.Completed CA or CPA qualification or very close to.Minimum 4 years of experience in Australian Public Practice.Knowledge of APS, XPA & Tax Manager (preferred).Proficiency in Xero, MYOB & QuickBooks, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.Culture & ValuesOur client prioritises professional improvement, honesty, integrity, and accountability.
