Our client specialises in providing tax, accounting, and strategic advice to medium sized clients within the hospitality, export, property sectors, high net worth individuals and construction industries.
They currently have a need for a passionate and energetic senior accountant with a minimum of 5 years business services experience to manage a broad range of clients.
You will be involved with more than just compliance but will also be able to create and nurture client relationships.
The moment you join the team, you will be given responsibility to manage your own clients - they encourage regular phone contact and face-to-face meetings.
You will report into a successful but very approachable and relaxed manager who takes the time to mentor and support.
Your Role Will Include: Client consultation Business advisory and Consulting Preparing financial statements for all entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and superannuation funds Preparing Income Tax returns for the above entities as well as individuals Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements.
Commercial and Tax Advice Budgeting and Forecasting; and Superannuation fund compliance and advisory services Ideally You Will: Have at a minimum 5 years experience in an Australian practice within the business services division Be CA/CPA qualified or near completion Be personable and have good communications skills Be able to build rapport with clients Have experience in working with companies that have multiple entities Have excellent communication and written skills Have experience with XERO, MYOB, Quickbooks & APS Have a proactive attitude and a desire for more client interaction This firm provides a relaxed working environment with a flexible approach.
