The Opportunity
They acknowledge their Accounting Professionals are the firm's future leaders and they will support them every step of the way. They now wish to appoint a focused Senior Accountant, who is looking for greater challenge and more responsibility, to join their professional business services and advisory team.
Reporting to a Senior Manager and Director you will assist SME clients meet their statutory obligation, providing technical excellence and business advisory services.
You will have outstanding people skills coupled with strong relationship management skills to build long lasting relationships with all stakeholders.
Duties will include: Preparation of accounts, financial statements, tax returns, BAS and other compliance matters for clientsLiaising directly with clients and assisting in tax planning and ad-hoc advisory workPreparing and managing of client correspondenceLiaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies in relation to clients' issuesExperience and Qualifications: Have a minimum of 4 years' experience in Australian Public PracticeHave a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Commerce or similarBe CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)Fantastic benefits to include: Attractive salary of $100K - $120K + superFlexible Working ArrangementsCareer development opportunitiesDaily fresh fruit providedOnsite CaféFull CA/CPA Support (Paid upfront + 2 days leave per module)Monthly external training, regular internal training, and mentoringProgressive & cloud focused firm, investing in technology & your developmentVery social environment and numerous staff eventsDon't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to progress your career working for a firm that truly looks after their staff and clients.
