The Role: Business Management Senior Accountant As Senior Accountant you will manage the end-to-end service offering for a portfolio of clients within our growing team and look after a client base. This includes developing strong working relationships with your clients, as you gain a full understanding of their business and provide them with an end-to-end accounting solution.?
Your role will include coordinating and contributing to month-end processes and reporting, overseeing and actioning client communications, and actioning deliverables for various other tasks. You will be working across multiple clients, and will be responsible for their day-to-day accounting processes to ensure our clients have the best customer experience possible.
This role requires a proactive, organised, hands-on Accountant who can develop excellent working relationships with staff and clients, to ensure our client engagement is maintained to a high standard. You will be expected to work collaboratively, have strong relationship building skills, and be people-oriented in all of the work you produce.
This will include:? Ability to manage multiple clients' needs and manage prioritisation of client tasks. Manage stakeholder communication between clients, suppliers and other third parties. Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll and internal reporting requirements.?? Supervise and review work from the bookkeepers and accountants in your team. Meeting with clients/potential clients, and being involved in the lead management/sales process Understand how to scope a client's needs and present a quote for required services Review superannuation obligations. Manage client workflow and deadlines.? Cash flow forecasting. Identify insurance requirements and handle review & renewal process Provide advisory support and ad hoc reporting when required We would love it if you had: Qualifications in accounting and/or bookkeeping: Bachelor in Accounting or CPA or CA completed or in progress3-5 years of relevant experience (desirable if you have worked in Public Practice)Strong business acumen with problem solving creativityHighly organized with the ability to work under pressureSelf motivated with a desire to learnStrong relationship building skillsVery good communication skillsTech savvy and able to adapt to new systemsGood attentionAdvanced experience with accounting software (Xero experience is preferred).Location: Our offices are based in Melbourne (TGG Headquarters), Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Philippines and India.
