About the Role    We are seeking a skilled and motivated  Senior Accountant  to join a growing, forward-thinking advisory firm based in the heart of Melbourne.
Working closely with entrepreneurial clients across various industries, this role offers you the opportunity to shape business strategies and deliver innovative financial solutions.
Your responsibilities will include: Tax Advisory : Including advice on employee share schemes, restructuring, and more complex consulting work Strategic Planning : Providing guidance on business growth strategies and development Financial Analysis : Conducting forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow modelling Mentorship : Supporting and developing junior team members and helping shape the next generation of talent Cross-Department Collaboration : Working with other specialists to enhance client services and leverage additional business opportunities Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns Ensure all clients meet tax and regulatory obligations with accuracy and timeliness Skills and Experience We are looking for candidates who have: 3-5 years of experience in a mid-tier or large accounting firm, ideally in a similar advisory-focused role A CA or CPA qualification Strong technical proficiency in tax, financial modelling, and advisory engagements, including valuations and forecasting Expert skills in Xero and Microsoft Excel A passion for mentoring and developing junior team members Culture & Benefits    The workplace culture is built on principles of diversity, inclusivity, and employee well-being.
