Our Launceston Team has fantastic role for an experienced accountant to grow their career in a practice that values internal advancement in a supportive team environment.
The Role
In this hands-on client facing role you will be working with a diverse client group within a talented and established team. You will focus on client relationships and building an in depth understanding of clients' needs to deliver quality and exceptional service.
As a Senior Accountant with our Launceston team you will be responsible for: Working with the client manager to manage a portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industries Using your technical expertise across accounting and tax to deliver complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts Preparation of monthly management reports for client, cashflow statements and the construction of logical and accurate working papers Assisting in consulting matters including the provision of tax advice Providing guidance and support to junior team members through quality feedback and review, coaching and delegation. The Role

As a Senior Accountant with our Launceston team you will be responsible for: Working with the client manager to manage a portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industries Using your technical expertise across accounting and tax to deliver complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts Preparation of monthly management reports for client, cashflow statements and the construction of logical and accurate working papers Preparing budgets for client engagements Assisting in consulting matters including the provision of tax advice Providing guidance and support to junior team members through quality feedback and review, coaching and delegation. As our new team member, you will have: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree Completed professional certification – CA, CPA or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience (At least 2 years in public practice accounting) Demonstrated exposure to medium and large businesses with multiple entities Motivationand a commitment to self-development and career progression Excellent written and oral communication skills A strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders What we offer
