The Role
In this hands-on client facing role you will be working with a diverse client group within a talented and established team. You will focus on client relationships and building an in depth understanding of clients' needs to deliver quality and exceptional service.
As a Senior Accountant with our Launceston team you will be responsible for: Working with the client manager to manage a portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industriesUsing your technical expertise across accounting and tax to deliver complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trustsPreparation of monthly management reports for client, cashflow statements and the construction of logical and accurate working papersAssisting in consulting matters including the provision of tax adviceProviding guidance and support to junior team members through quality feedback and review, coaching and delegation. As a Senior Accountant with our Launceston team you will be responsible for: Working with the client manager to manage a portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industriesUsing your technical expertise across accounting and tax to deliver complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trustsPreparation of monthly management reports for client, cashflow statements and the construction of logical and accurate working papersPreparing budgets for client engagementsAssisting in consulting matters including the provision of tax adviceProviding guidance and support to junior team members through quality feedback and review, coaching and delegation.As our new team member, you will have:Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degreeCompleted professional certification – CA, CPA or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of accounting experience (At least 2 years in public practice accounting)Demonstrated exposure to medium and large businesses with multiple entitiesMotivationand a commitment to self-development and career progressionExcellent written and oral communication skillsA strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWhat we offer
