We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in the Brisbane office. You will be a conscientious accounting professional with demonstrated experience in public practice and will enjoy providing a high-level service, expert advice, and support to a range of client groups, including individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose reports for various entities and industries.Conduct tax research and handle general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation.Service a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing individual client needs.Perform journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts.Build and maintain positive and personalised working relationships with clients and colleagues.Provide development, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to less experienced team members as required.Participate in professional development activities to stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.About youQualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.CA or CPA qualified.Demonstrated professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting.Professional, client-focused, and invested in developing into a trusted business advisor.Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to adapt in high-pressure situations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.About the Vincents experienceOur people are our greatest strength.
