Our client is seeking a highly organised and professional Senior Accountant to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high-performing team of finance professionals. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to fund and property level accounting, as well as the chance to improve processes and provide insightful advice.
As a Senior Accountant, your primary task will be assisting in the financial and management reporting for the real estate group. You will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts for fund entities, reviewing monthly P&L and budget analysis, as well as Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations where required. Your role will also involve liaising with Analysts and Property managers on complex accounting issues.

What you bring: Tertiary qualification in professional accounting/finance and CA/CPA qualified Minimum 5+ years accounting experience Experience in a similar level role within a commercial real estate environment Experience with ASX listed REITs and Registered Managed Investment Schemes desirable Sound knowledge of the AASB, particularly those applicable to Real Estate Investment Trusts Demonstrated experience improving finance processes Understanding of control environments
