This role is integral to the development and oversight of budgets, financial and statutory reporting, and the optimisation of financial operations. You will support multiple NSW Health Pillar organisations, including the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI), Bureau of Health Information (BHI), Cancer Institute NSW, Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC), and Health Education and Training Institute (HETI).What you'll be doingPreparing financial, management, and statutory reports to deliver clear insights into program trends and financial performance.Providing expert advice on accounting, finance, asset management, and policy compliance.Supporting strategic decision-making by implementing effective financial planning, governance, and reporting frameworks.Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to underpin program delivery.Maintaining robust internal controls and driving continuous improvements in financial processes and systems.Effectively communicating financial information to stakeholders, including executive leadership.Delivering high-quality financial reports within strict deadlines, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements.About youYou bring substantial experience in finance and business management, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional expertise. Eligibility for membership in a recognised professional accounting body, such as CPA or equivalent, is essential.Your strengths include preparing financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting with a solid understanding of accounting standards and statutory obligations.
