Senior Accountant - 2-3 Days Per Week

Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) My client is a well-established boutique builder based in Melbourne's south east. Now seeking a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to join the team on a part-time basis. This role will involve working closely with the Company Directors to be the first point of contact for all financial affairs of the business - and take total control of tasks such as completing month-end, all reporting including statutory reports, managing the asset register, project/job costing, and WIPs, as well as fulfilling tax obligations. Prior experience in the Construction industry is essential for this position. This position will best suit someone seeking part-time arrangements (2 to 3 days has been suggested but is potentially negotiable for the right individual) and wants to be part of a small-to-medium sized business as they continue to develop and grow. This position will see the right candidate ultimately responsible for putting shape on the financial processes for the business, so a proactive nature and hands-on approach to work is a must.
