Solenis is a 2021 US Best Managed Company.About the role:Reporting to the WA Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing some of the existing accounts in Perth Western Australia to ensure account security and business retention by implementing professional account management processes.
This position is a standalone role and is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, managing profitability, technical services as well as new business development.
This role is hands-on involving sampling of mineral slurries, recording process data, and testing results.
Checking chemical dosages, customer inventories and much more.
Monthly reporting and customer reviews are an essential part of the role.
You will require at least 5 years plus industry experience, technical knowledge in chemistry and a strong focus on continuous improvement projects and customer value assurance.With the opportunities Solenis WA Mining has you will also need to have a proven track record of business development both within our existing customers and skill to develop new business with new clients.Responsibilities:Build new and maintain existing customer relationshipsManage existing customer accountsGain new customer accountsConduct chemical testing on customer slurry and water samplesManage Solenis product inventory on customer sitesWork with Contractors to manage equipment refurb/build as requiredRemote travel will be a requirementSkills and experience:To be successful in this role and a key contributor to our commercial team, you will need the following:5 years plus experience in the industry and chemical industry required – mandatoryHave process chemical and utilities chemical backgroundMechanical aptitudePrevious experience in a sales/service and account management role (advantageous)Ability to troubleshoot and identify problem and solutionsVerbal communication, customer relationsAble to prioritize and manage own workload with minimal supervisionAbility to travel to remote sitesBenefits and perks:Solenis offers employees competitive compensation, benefits and recognition.
