The opportunity We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our London Healthcare team.
Healthcare is increasingly becoming one of the key focus and growth areas within Iris and we're looking for great people with a Healthcare/scientific comms background to support this growing team and existing client base.
Working predominantly on two key clients - Bayer and Alcon - you'll be an integral part of our client leadership team.
The work with Bayer is focused on supporting them with an exciting new project in the menopause space, working with them to help find disruptive and category shaping ways to communicate about menopause to both physicians and women.
With Alcon, we have a longstanding relationship as their strategic and creative partners, working across their Vision Care and Surgical portfolios at a Global, regional and local level.
The work out of London is predominantly focused on their contact lens portfolio, launching new product offerings with exciting creative campaigns and strategic workstreams.
You'll report into the Business Director.
There will also be opportunities to work across the other clients in the Healthcare team including Convatec and Otsuka, as well as supporting with new business driving activities.
Ideally you will have had a strong healthcare background, but we're open to candidates with a lighter touch level of healthcare experience.
How you'd spend your day Build relationships with day-to-day clients, understanding their business and challenges, ensuring their needs are met and keeping them up-to-date.Get stuck into a variety of projects (working closely with strategy, creative and design, amongst others) that lean into the capability of the Iris team – from brand design to campaigns, capability & training to consultancy and future strategy.Lead medium-sized briefs with the opportunity to step up on bigger projects when the time is right.Take an active role in managing project finances including forecasting incomes, tracking chargeability, timely invoicing and escalating challenges.We're usually in the office on Mon, Weds & Thurs so we'd be looking for someone who is happy to do that too.
