The Global Family & Private Investment Offices team ("GFO") is a sales and client servicing group, within the Wealth Management division, specifically dedicated to supporting the wealthiest families in the world, typically those with a single family office or private investment company. Given their wealth, these families act like institutions but require a personal and high touch approach, as well as the highest level of discretion. The GFO APAC business is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious individual to serve as a Senior Account Manager and Team Leader for the APAC Account Management team. The Senior Account Manager and Team Leader will serve a small number of complex family office relationships while also serving as a team leader and escalation contact for the GFO Account Managers in Melbourne and Singapore. They will liaise directly with internal partners to resolve issues and will be required to build an effective network throughout the organization. This individual will also work closely with Sales and Relationship Management to assist and drive growth in new and additional business opportunities. Major Duties: Owns coordination and day-to-day contact for specific family office relationships. Anticipates and identifies client needs and handles client inquiry resolution. Able to serve as key subject matter expert for Custody and Accounting products and be an escalation point and mentor for other Account Managers in the region. Lead initiatives within GFO APAC to improve processes, implement cross-regional operating models, and reduce risk. Independently coordinates the daily execution of client requests, communicating progress status with clients, vendors, and the internal service team regularly. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact. Direct setup of various types of client accounts and services. Keeps abreast of all new products and services to respond to client inquiries. Assists with onboarding of new clients. Conducts performance management and career development processes and staffing. Acts as a subject area expert and directs activities of staff. Develops and maintains specific subject expertise and advises business management and relevant third parties. Is well versed in the compliance requirements for new accounts/relationships. Monitors compliance reports for adherence to policy and procedures. Interacts with partners in various operating areas to ensure accurate processing, resolve issues, and research client inquiries. Able to anticipate and identify clients' needs related to service requests and integrate knowledge of the organization to meet/exceed these needs. Provides hands-on training to staff. Serves as a point of escalation. Researches, analyzes, and resolves complex client inquiries. Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary in order to monitor the consistent flow of requests in a daily deadline, time-critical environment. Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are needed to identify and resolve client inquiries. Possess an ability to jump into the data, understand it, and use it to clarify queries. Excellent relationship management skills. Be able to operate independently with a desire to hunt out solutions to problems and discuss this with the client. Core investment management/Custody knowledge with experience in Investment Operations preferred.
