ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Senior Manager / Senior Account Manager of Federal Government will focus on driving business growth of the Federal Government business nationally by supporting senior management in identifying new business opportunities.
You will play an integral part in designing and delivering workforce solutions for our Federal Government clients through contingent, permanent and project services alongside a highly supportive Account Management team. As a consistent high achiever who thrives in a dynamic environment you will build highly productive stakeholder relationships with multiple government departments.
You will have extensive government experience in either Federal or State government, have an understanding of APS recruitment procedures including merit-based principles, strong market knowledge and the ability to develop as a subject matter expert in Federal Government. You will be responsible for Consultants and Recruitment Resources appointed under your management and the delivery of key programs of work.
RESPONSIBILITIESIdentifying new business opportunities and coordinating Request for Quotes (RFQs)Provide clear direction to resources to support the delivery of servicesBe actively involved in management meetings to support the national teamNetwork, develop business and promote Robert WaltersAttend regular industry and networking events to stay informed about new trendsBe create, innovative and forward thinking in your recruitment practicesMaintain regular tracking of job activitiesOngoing management responsibilities of Contingent workforceAttend regular meetings with contract management teamsABOUT YOU5+ years in Federal or State Government experience10+ years management experience in RecruitmentExisting relationships in GovernmentDeep understanding of Australian Public Service (APS) recruitment proceduresHigh levels of integrity with entrepreneurial acumenAbility to coach and mentor less experienced employeesAbility to build strong working relationshipsStrong client focus, motivated by delivering exceptional client experiencesStrong associate and candidate management experienceWell-developed business acumen and negotiation skillsOutstanding ability to effectively manage a high workload in a fast-paced environmentOUR CULTUREWe put people at the heart of everything we do.
