THE ROLE
The Senior Account Manager works closely with Account Directors and the Client Services Director to deliver the best quality work across client program development, implementation, and reporting, meeting and exceeding campaign KPIs, and contributing to identifying and securing new business for the agency.
We need a self-starter who can spot a good story and has close media contacts. This position reports to a Senior Account Director and requires accountability for personal and team outputs and outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and monitor clients' business and industries to stay up to date on trends and developments.
Own and drive strong relationships within the client base.
Know each client's objectives, perspectives, issues, and requirements.
Prepare communications and earned strategies for clients.
Effectively present strategies and programs to clients.
Prepare and regularly review detailed project plans to ensure successful implementation.
Achieve high levels of client satisfaction while maintaining agency profitability.
Manage small-to-medium sized accounts in consultation with senior managers.
Ensure accurate, relevant media distribution lists are developed and maintained.
Plan and implement events including research, venue, catering, and talent selection.
Be a driving force for culture within the agency.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience managing junior teams.
Strong understanding of current digital channels and social media as marketing tools.
A degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism is preferred.
A minimum of five years full-time experience in agency or similar roles.
