We are looking for a Senior Account Manager Agronomy, to join our Kingscote branch. About the role:As a Senior Agronomist at our Kingscote branch, one of Nutrien Ag Solutions' highest performing branches, you will see yourself join a collaborative team of hard-working professionals dedicated to forming strong and genuine relationships with growers and customers in this diverse agricultural region with a focus on helping increase their yield. What you'll be doing:Service growers across this diverse agricultural area of Kangaroo Island, from high rainfall crops and significant pasture requirements the opportunities are significant to push the envelope on your agronomic careerEngage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers and who have significant experience partnering with producersResponsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprisesYou will provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region together with product sales both in store and on farm. Keeping relevant with latest plant production practices together with running and coordinating field days and farmer meetings will position you as the go-to subject matter expert in the region for broadacre agronomic inputs and other advice.What we'll love about you:To be successful you will have full working rights within Australia and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an agronomy position ideally within a commercial environment. In addition, you will also bring with you:Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application ideally with experience in broadacre crops.History of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical productsYou will demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.A driver's licence is critical.
