AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals.

How you will create an impact Manage a portfolio of captive insurance companies.
Coordinate all captive operations, including financial statement preparation, regulatory and corporate compliance on behalf of captive owners.
Lead relationship and communication with captive owners, service providers and regulators.
Performance Objectives include: Client Management : Responsibilities include being the clients' primary contact, preparation of financial statements; ensure captives are in compliance with all regulatory requirements which includes various filings for each client accurately and with specified deadlines.
Non-Routine Client Management : Perform special requests for clients, which may include tasks such as business plan changes, preparing financial proformas, or analyzing new agreements.
Communication/Relationships: Responsible for the day-to-day client and service providers' communications for matters relating to captive business operations and insurance programs.
What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in accounting, or similar A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA or similar) is preferred, but not required Related technical certification (ARe, AINS, or similar) or minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance management and financial reporting, preferred Excellent insurance accounting technical skills and experience in preparing financial statements under GAAP/IFRS and domicile statutory reporting requirements.
Excellent communicator, both verbally and written Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple client reporting deadlines Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently in order to meet departmental client service objectives Proficient in use of IT applications such as Excel, Word, Adobe-Pro and Outlook in a Windows 10 environment Sound problem-solving skills and flexibility to assume ad hoc projects as arising Ready to put your ideas into action?
