We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Access Contracts Advisor at our Perth CBD Office, on a Full-Time Permanent basis.
About this role As the Senior Access Contracts Advisor you will be accountable for providing subject matter expert (SME) advice and support to Access Solutions' project sponsors in negotiating complex contracts for the provision of Network access.
Accountable for providing subject matter expert (SME) advice and support to Access Solutions' project sponsors in negotiating complex contracts for the provision of Network access. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and timely management of contracts relating to major customer transmission connections. Ensure appropriate and robust commercial and legal advice provided for issues involving Access Solutions. Influence regulatory policy development from a commercial perspective. Develop and provide training on commercial and legal issues affecting Access Solutions. Apply a balanced approach to all issues affecting Access Solutions. Issues are complex and rarely have one solution for all situations. The incumbent must be able to think and act broadly across the issues faced. Negotiation of contracts that meet the customer's connection requirements at an appropriate level of commercial and technical risk for Western Power About you Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline are essential. A comprehensive and broad understanding of risk, commercial and compliance management A good understanding of operating within a regulatory framework. High level, demonstrable experience in complex contract and financial negotiations in an infrastructure environment Ability to make objective and balanced recommendations when dealing with competing demands. Strong ability to prioritise competing demands and manage expectations appropriately. Ability to build and maintain excellent internal and external relationships at a senior level. High level communication skills High level negotiating and influencing skills.
