Lycopodium is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior 12d Civil Designer to join our growing Engineering team in our Perth Office.
You will work in a team of civil designer/drafters and engineers managed by our Principal Civil Engineer, as well as liaise with members of other discipline teams to work on mining resource projects that will be constructed all around the world.
The tasks you'll perform Modelling of civil earthworks, roads, drainage and stormwater with engineering input as required from other team membersWork with other discipline team members (e.g. concrete, structural, mechanical) to help ensure suitable integration at discipline interfacesProduce drawings in accordance with client specification and Lycopodium standardsMaintain high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation produced for activities under your controlUndertake volume calculations and material take-offs (Schedule of Quantities)Manage workload and priorities to ensure tasks are completed in an orderly manner within time frames requiredProvide support for construction queries associated with project designs by liaising with on-site personnel as requiredThe expertise you'll bring Certificate or Diploma in Civil Design or Engineering or relevant trade backgroundExperience in 12D softwarePrevious experience with the design of earthworks, roads, drainage, storm water and sewerage reticulation (preferable but not essential)The benefits we'll provide Lycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
