The SEND Team provides support to educational settings and professionals with regards to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs, the Statutory EHC Needs Assessment process and Annual Review Process.Your CustomersEducation settings in and out of Central BedfordshireParents, Children and Young PeopleStaff within the CouncilElected MembersThird Party providers, suppliers and partnersGovernment agencies and departmentsYour RoleProvide comprehensive support for children, young people, education settings, and professionals regarding SEND support, EHC Needs Assessment process, and Annual Review Process.Visit education settings or children's homes to monitor progress and write reports with actions.Attend the EHC Needs Assessment panel.Lead professional to write an EHC Plan in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice.Provide training to educational settings and families.Health and SafetyVisual display - regular use.Work PatternStandard Monday to Friday with flexibility subject to business needs.For any further questions, please contact Mia for more information.
