An Ofsted Outstanding school is looking for a positive and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with students with Autism and associated complex needs. Full training will be provided; this school is seeking individuals who are nurturing, compassionate, creative, and versatile. This school focuses on ensuring students who have difficulty accessing Education have a social and exciting school experience. You will join an engaging and helpful team and support mixed-ability children on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis across KS2, 3, 4. Children attending this setting are aged between 5 and 19 years (both a primary and secondary provision). This role is required on a full-time, permanent basis (8:30-4:30) and is a term-time only role.

Providing teaching assistance to the teacher defined according to weekly/daily/seasonal planning of the teacherWorking 1:1 with studentsProviding group and/or individual activities, planned by the teacherWorking individually with learners/students to develop work.Supporting the general well-being of learners within the structure of the schoolMonitoring and evaluating students learning under the guidance of the teacherAssisting teachers in the use of relevant management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning to take placeSupporting all learners in their planned structured work in all curriculum areasKey skills and experience needed:
