Job Ad: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA/HLTA) - Primary School in HounslowWe are seeking a dedicated Male SEN Teaching Assistant or HLTA to join our vibrant primary school in Hounslow, supporting two children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Year 3. This is a full-time and potentially long-term role, providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our students.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support to two high-functioning ASD students within their Year 3 class during the mornings.Support the students' learning and development through tailored interventions.Deliver in-class support and manage small group intervention sessions in the afternoons.Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, SENCO, and the wider school team.Be an integral part of our ASD Centre, ensuring the children are fully integrated into the school community.Ideal Candidate:Previous experience working with children with ASD, particularly in primary settings.Knowledge of ASD strategies and interventions.Ability to build strong relationships with children, promoting their social and academic progress.Patient, compassionate, and adaptable with a positive attitude.HLTA status or experience as an SEN TA is desirable.If you are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and making a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.Position: Full-timeLocation: HounslowStart Date: ASAPTo apply, please send your CV and a cover letter detailing your experience.
