Exciting Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Term-Time Only)
Are you passionate about helping young people reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in the beautiful town of Ringwood.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Ringwood, Dorset
Hourly Rate: £11.72 - £12.78
Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time only
Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work with students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism. You'll collaborate with teachers to provide classroom support and engage students in outdoor activities such as Bushcraft and life skills. Your role will be crucial in helping students achieve their academic and personal development goals.
Key Duties:
Provide individualised support while ensuring student safety and well-being.Assist students in working towards their Education and Healthcare Plan (EHCP) goals.Implement positive behaviour management strategies tailored to each student.Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and health and safety matters.Encourage positive social interaction and teamwork among students.Who We're Looking For:
