Project : Lead the delivery of a Network Security Infrastructure Roadmap for a high-profile WA government project.
Timeline : Initially 9 months, starting Feb 2025.
Your capabilities :
Substantial working experience in strategic Program end to end Roadmap development.
Has successfully delivered similar engagement in size and complexities.
Certified and or strong working knowledge or experience with industry Frameworks, standards and Maturity Models, such as TOGAF, Essential 8, COBIT, MSP etc.
Significant experience in stakeholder engagement.
Your role will include :
Undertake a discovery / review of all material developed to date for the program, including the business case, OAG findings, dependent inflight projects / programs, program definitions / PIDs, meeting minutes, etc.
Based on the reviewed material, determine the key priorities and objectives the roadmap needs to support, such as Macro and Micro Segmentation strategies, the approach to wireless, and service delivery models (e.g., IaaS vs owner-managed).
Identify additional artefacts (e.g., policy documents, specifications, plans, risk assessments) that need to be developed as part of the roadmap, some of which may be created within other inflight projects.
Develop the Network Security Architecture Framework for each category of HSP, ensuring it aligns with the key priorities and objectives identified and adheres to best practice network security principles, including agility, reliability, flexibility, and resilience.
As a live document, prioritize the development of the Framework based on demand from ongoing projects.
Develop the Roadmap with clear technical milestones, supported by a maturity model, that aligns with the objectives and priorities, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed of the program's principles.
Communicate and refine the Roadmap and Architecture Framework based on feedback and other inputs.
