We are seeking a skilled Cloud Governance Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all cloud-based solutions comply with regulatory standards and governance frameworks. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise while working across key cloud platforms in a challenging and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities: Governance and Compliance: Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks aligned with regulatory standards, such as APRA. Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate cloud-related risks, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Cloud Platform Expertise: Utilise advanced knowledge of AWS (primary platform) and solid understanding of GCP (secondary platform) to optimise and manage cloud resources. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving governance initiatives. Communication: Translate and articulate governance policies and cloud strategies for both technical and non-technical audiences. Autonomy: Work independently with minimal oversight, ensuring responsibilities are managed effectively and project deadlines are met. Technical Skills: Cloud Platforms: Advanced expertise in AWS and good familiarity with GCP. Governance Frameworks: Experience establishing governance policies in cloud environments and knowledge of APRA standards or similar compliance frameworks. Soft Skills: Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex cloud concepts. Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across all organisational levels. Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic and imperfect environments.
