About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager to lead and enhance their quality management systems. Reporting to senior management, this hands-on role ensures compliance, drives improvement initiatives, and maintains the organisation's reputation for excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO 9001 and AS9100D accreditation. Lead and mentor Inspectors to meet quality standards. Oversee product inspection processes and ensure regulatory compliance. Implement continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. Perform hands-on inspections and collaborate with teams to uphold quality standards.
Key Requirements
5+ years managing a quality department in CNC machining, fabrication, or general engineering. Proven success in achieving and maintaining ISO 9001 accreditation. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage priorities and lead a team effectively.
