Seeking: Greenkeeper – Mcleod Country Golf Club

The McLeod Country Golf Club in Mt Ommaney are looking to employ a Greenkeeper/Groundsman to compliment their expanding course maintenance team.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in all aspects of course maintenance and presentation.

Applicants meeting the following criteria are encouraged to apply.

· A qualification in turf management or experience in grounds maintenance.

· Experience operating and maintaining ride on mowing equipment and using grounds maintenance tools and/or tractors.

· An ability to be proactive, working as part of a team or autonomously.

· An ability to work for long periods outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Good communication skills.

· Self-motivated and possess a good work ethic.

· Available to work occasional weekend shifts.

· A knowledge of golf will be viewed favourably.

The position is on a full-time basis with occasional weekend work on a rotating roster. Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on level of experience. Uniform, ongoing training and career development opportunities are included.
