Due to exponential growth and diversification of a growing Property Development (based in Burwood) business, we are seeking a driven, autonomous and capable Assistant Development Manager (ADM) to join our Development division!
Expectations of the role: Working as part of a small team. Reporting as required Assist in financial modelling and ongoing management Ability to step outside job boundaries at times in the interests of achieving exciting outcomes and common goals. Play a role in the management of a growing portfolio divided across master-planned communities, mixed-use and residential apartment developments Exposure to all aspects of development including acquisitions, concept planning, detailed design, delivery and sales Work on projects ranging from $20M to $100M in value Have the autonomy and take ownership of your tasks and grow as part of the team in one of the fastest growing property portfolios in the market Assist in managing the project cycle in its entirety - from acquisition through to completion Assisting in managing critical internal and external stakeholder relationships Prepare consultancy/contract briefs, tender, award, and manage services Ensure project delivery and procurement methods are compliant with industry best practice and probity guidelines Coordination with consultants including Engineers, Landscape Architects and Urban Planners Negotiating with relevant authorities as required Preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts in line with financial management targets and managerial expectations Maintain compliant project records and documentation Analysing market to conjure research reports Contributing to sales and marketing activities and the acquisition of future projects Minimum Qualifications: Minimum three years of experience in residential and/or mixed-use developments Tertiary qualification in urban design, planning, engineering, property development, property economics, construction, financial or client-side project management discipline or related industry Strong verbal and written communication abilities, initiative, high level of organisation skills Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment Exposure to similar role with proven abilities in organising and coordinating the development, design, construction, and marketing/sales of projects Ability to demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and effective communication skills reflecting diplomacy and empathy, generating successful outcomes A proactive and resilient nature who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities from multiple stakeholders Experience in liaising with councils and communities Understanding of the property market and trends Must hold a current NSW driver's licence and have their own transport to travel to sites.
