About the roleAt Navitas Skilled Futures, SEE Trainer/Assessors are responsible for the delivery and assessment of high-quality language, literacy and numeracy training programs as well as assessment practices for Navitas Skilled Futures clients, in accordance with Navitas Skilled Futures guidelines and instructions, government contract requirements and the Standards for RTOs 2015.The candidate we seek will ideally have the following:Essential:Bachelor's degree, andPost-graduate qualification in TESOL or Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy, andRelevant Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentAdditionally, we are looking for Trainers for St Alban's, Sunshine and Footscray locations in West Melbourne:Demonstrated teaching capability & ability to use technology in classroom deliveryDemonstrated assessment capability & ability to deliver training using nationally accredited curricula e.g. CSWE, EAL and frameworks e.g. ACSFDemonstrated high level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in a multicultural learning environmentDemonstrated knowledge of AQF principles and methodologyDemonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approachesAbility to use learning management systems and/or student management systems e.g. Canvas, VETtrakDemonstrated capability to use Microsoft Office suiteExperience and currency in industry related areas relevant to jobseeker goals e.g. hospitality, community services, warehousingWhat we can offer you:A fun and supportive team environmentCollegial and collaborative environment with the aim of academic excellenceHealth & Wellbeing packages which include free counselling for employees and family, discounted gym membership, movie tickets, discounts on travel, accommodation and insuranceSalary packaging and novated leasingAbout UsNavitas Skilled Futures delivers the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) on behalf of the Department of Home Affairs and the Skills for Education and Employment Program (SEE), on behalf of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
