Backed by a five-year funding commitment, this Bininj-led initiative is trialling innovative approaches to adult education and ranger training, setting a benchmark for on-Country learning.Supported by the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program, the Uni delivers tailored Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills training to enhance job readiness, further education opportunities, and community engagement.The OpportunityWe are looking for someone who will oversee a transformative three-year training initiative across Mimal and Warddeken Land Management areas.This role involves co-designing and delivering Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills programs to empower participants.Based in Darwin with monthly travel to Arnhem Land, the Project Coordinator will:Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs.Conduct stakeholder engagement and on-ground consultations.Manage project milestones, reporting, and adaptive planning.Split time between hands-on work in Arnhem Land and flexible operations in Darwin.About YouTertiary qualifications in Project Management, Community Development, Education, or related fields, or equivalent experience in delivering complex projects.Experienced in working with Aboriginal communities and delivering tailored training and development.Skilled in co-designing, implementing, and evaluating programs with diverse stakeholders.Strong understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them in remote contexts.Proven ability to manage teams, resources, and budgets autonomously in remote settings.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cultural competence.Experience in delivering Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills programs (desirable).Knowledge of strengths-based, community-led approaches and Asset-Based Community Development principles (desirable).QualificationsCurrent manual driver's license with off-road driving experience (essential).Ochre Card or the ability to obtain one (essential).Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (desirable).Travel RequirementsFrequent travel to Mimal and Warddeken Indigenous Protected Areas (IPA).Vehicle included for work purposes.Your Reward$110,000 plus 12.5% super and benefits including salary sacrifice.6 weeks annual leave.Travel allowance for remote travel.Next StepsTo register your interest, click the "Apply" button, without delay.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a project coordinator?Do you have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment?
