About the role
We are seeking suitably experienced and qualified Electronic Security Technicians to join our close knit team.
The role will be predominantly project/installation based with a requirement to assist with servicing client systems and participation in rostered after hours on-call support.
We value career and skill development and provide additional product and industry training.
TASC carry out a large variety of tasks, however a core component of the role will include installation and servicing of the following:
• Electronic security systems
• CCTV systems
• Access Control
• Intercom / public address and general maintenance
• Commercial and Industrial fit outs
To be successful in this role you must:
• Possess a valid, current West Australian Security Installers Licence
• Have a current ACMA Cabling Licence
• Hold a WA White Card
• Possess a valid WA driver's licence – with C class endorsement as a minimum
• Have the ability to work within Perth metro and regional areas if required
• Be enthusiastic, motivated, organised & proactive
• Have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage yourself and others.
• Be able to demonstrate a positive approach and a comprehensive understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
The following are also highly desirable;
• Security equipment manufacturer accreditations/training
• Certification in the installation, commissioning and integration of Security Access Control and Video Surveillance Systems
• Experience with Wireless Communication systems
• Fundamental TCP/IP networking knowledge
• EWP/Boom/Working at Heights/High Risk licences and accreditations
