Council Facilities & Assets Branch is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Security & Systems Officer to join our team.
About the OpportunityIn this role, you will be pivotal in supporting Council's Building Assets Strategies through effective technical maintenance planning and implementation of work plans aimed at enhancing building security.
You will manage the administration of Council's facility access requirements including swipe access, physical keys, access registers and hardware.
Additionally, you will assist with planned inspections of Council assets and facilities, providing crucial information and data for security locking systems and facilitating necessary changes to maintain high security standards.
What you will bringIdeally the successful applicant will have the following:
Degree or Diploma in facility management, project management, contract administration, administration or extensive experience in a related field.
Relevant experience with access control, security monitoring, auditing, building management and associated systems.
Knowledge and/or experience in asset management systems, data collection and database management and/or CAD systems.
Experience in working to timeframes and reporting requirements.
Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one.
Current Driver's License.
Salary and ConditionsThe position is classified within
Band 5
of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $75,461.88 to $86,603.92 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
