Responsibility:
* Primarily provide support to the Senior System Administrator and Infrastructure Manager.
* Assist with the resolution of complex customer requests including software migration issues, desktop support, integration of applications and incident response.
* Participate and engage with various security undergoing projects.
* Participates in the planning and execution of systems and infrastructure deployment, systems upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
* Represents Infrastructure & Security Team on projects impacting on infrastructure deployment, systems upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
* Prepares documentation for systems including preparing and maintaining systems documentation.
* Liaise with ICT Teams to ensure the Support Teams are informed and up to date.
* Defines scope, plans and produces deliverables for assigned projects in collaboration with other ICT Team members.
* Ensure that supporting processes are documented and stored in a central location.
Maintain accurate documentation on project implementation and closure reports.Task/Stages:
* Daily SOC Monitoring & Reporting.
* Offsite & Mobile ICT Support* Maintains system security access to ensure appropriate access is given.
* Participates in the development and implementation of security controls and processes.
* Reviews system security requirements provided by users and attends to any problems as they arise.
* Assist in the establishment and maintenance of systems security, integrity and business continuity controls and documentation.
* Conducts other duties as required.
Skills: Essential Work-Related Requirements (Selection Criteria)
* Experience in the testing and implementation of systems and ICT infrastructure including networks.
* Demonstrated sound skills and experience in the use and administration of corporate systems and networks.
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including liaising skills.
* Demonstrated sound analytical skills including the ability to recommend appropriate solutions.
* Demonstrated understanding of user support and system administration concepts and practices and experience in security management and controls with a complex computing environment.
* Extensive understanding of cyber security principles such as penetration testing, essential 8 maturity model* Has worked in a security or systems administration role or similar.
