Responsible for safeguarding the organization as a security subject matter expert.
The role is expected to analyze complex threats, develop solutions to mitigate risks, and collaborate across departments to implement security measures and best practices.
• Provides in-depth knowledge and analysis of complex security issues as a subject matter expert • Conducts thorough research and analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends • Supports security management in interpreting and applying complex security data for informed decision-making • Develops and implements security solutions to mitigate identified risks and stays updated on latest security technologies, tools and best practices • Collaborates with other functions to integrate security measures into existing systems and processes • Conducts security assessments and documents procedures and policies • Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Education Degree or equivalent Minimum Experience • At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in law enforcement/military/airline/commercial security is required • For Associate level, prior experience is not required • For Senior level, at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in law enforcement/military/airline/commercial security is required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Accuracy and attention to detail • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Certification to operate X-ray security equipment • Working knowledge of security equipment • Strong proficiency in English Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: Pay: Additional Details: FedEx was built on a philosophy that puts people first, one we take seriously.
