Security Specialist-Senior

Responsible for safeguarding the organization as a security subject matter expert.
The role is expected to analyze complex threats, develop solutions to mitigate risks, and collaborate across departments to implement security measures and best practices.

Key Responsibilities: Provides in-depth knowledge and analysis of complex security issues as a subject matter expert.
Conducts thorough research and analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends.
Supports security management in interpreting and applying complex security data for informed decision-making.
Develops and implements security solutions to mitigate identified risks and stays updated on latest security technologies, tools and best practices.
Collaborates with other functions to integrate security measures into existing systems and processes.
Conducts security assessments and documents procedures and policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: Degree or equivalent.

Minimum Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in law enforcement/military/airline/commercial security is required.
For Associate level, prior experience is not required.
For Senior level, at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in law enforcement/military/airline/commercial security is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Certification to operate X-ray security equipment.
Working knowledge of security equipment.
Strong proficiency in English.
